Since February 2015 Spaniel Aid UK have rehomed over 660 spaniels. Not only does rehoming change the life of the dog in question for the better, but it also changes the lives of the families that take in a new spaniel family member. Below are just some of the lovely testimonials we have received. We hope you enjoy reading them!

” Hi there,
I hadn’t thought to get in contact before now, but noticed all of the testimonials and success stories on the website the other day so decided to tell you ours, as a big thank you to spaniel aid and to let you know how happy a certain spaniel is in his new home!
We adopted Jip 2 years ago and he settled in straight away, he’s brilliant with our 4 granddaughters (one of which shares his basket and styles his hair when she comes to visit!) and he loves meeting other dogs when out on walks. Although he can get a little upset if he thinks we are going out without him, we have never met a friendlier, cuddlier, more loving dog. The only complaint we have is the volume of his snoring when he sneaks up to bed with us, and the smell of his flatulence if he has too many treats!
We have lots of pictures to share if you would like any for the website!
Thank you so much for introducing us, We couldn’t be happier!
Sue, family and Jip xxxx”

“Having decided to rehome a Working Cocker we found the Spaniel Aid web site and Facebook pages. We are amazed by the number of dogs being dealt with and impressed by the care that was obviously being put into assessing each dog to ensure they were matched with the right owner. We soon identified a dog that we felt we could offer a good home to – ‘bonkers Bailey’. We travelled from Cheshire to Wiltshire and met Melanie who, without us realising it, was carefully vetting us. With hindsight it’s lovely that she was making sure Bailey liked us and that we were fit to take on this wonderful dog. Happily we were successful and, following a home check by Natasha, we set off once again to collect our new dog the following week.

Bailey is the most adorable dog we have ever owned – we all love her to bits and are currently looking to re-home number 2!

Thank you to all the team at Spaniel Aid. Your dedication to these dogs is to be commended.” – January 2017

“Spaniel Aid have transformed my sons’s life by helping to find him the perfect companion. They took so much care in finding out what he needed so that they could find exactly the right dog for him. They then ensured the adoption process was smooth and professional and have been there ever since, just in case we need anything. My son is on the autistic spectrum so it was vital things were done with care and sensitivity for him and his beautiful Missy. We loved the whole experience so much we also now have our own little Spaniel Aid dog too! Xx “ – January 2017

Great great organisation, they took Ozzie in and transformed him,no more nights in a shed for that boy, looking forward to his updates, can’t thank you enough – November 2016

We got Sam a month ago now & it’s like he’s always been here. He’s such an easy, loving dog & our Dolly adores him. Spaniel Aid were very professional & thorough during the whole adoption process. They were also honest, we were told he pulls like train, he wee’s when excited & he loves mud & water. We would definitely recommend Spaniel Aid. The only bad thing is being tempted by the constant cycle of new arrivals! – October 2016

We got Haribo at 12 weeks and fell in love straight away.He brought so much love and happiness to our lives. Infact we had an amazing 12 months with him. Some hard times too as he had so much energy and never tired. But thats cockers for you.myself and my partner recently separated and having 3 children and working long shifts i could no longer meet his needs. He was left in my kitchen for up to five hours a day and i could only nip home to let him go to the toilet. It broke my heart leaving him and not giving him the companionship and exercise he needs. After alot of thought i came across spaniel aid and they were so lovely.I spoke to Haribos fosterer Mel days before the hand over and she was so lovely and reassuring. Today i took my beautiful boy and met Mel personally for the handover. Many tears were shed but i know im doing best for my boy.Mel is absolutely lovely and i know haribo will be absolutely fine in her care.Ive already had a video of him playing with lots of other dogs doing what he loves most.Thankyou so much spaniel aid especially maxine and mel xxx – August 2016

“Dear Maxine, Just to let you know that we left Barney and Amber with Kate and Ben Waite last night. We feel delighted with the family, and the environment, and know that the dogs are in great hands! We have made the donation via the website, and I’ve left all paperwork relating to the dogs with Kate. Just leaves me to express our thanks once again to you for intervening on behalf of the animals. Good luck in the great work that you do. Kind Regards, Tracy and Jerry.” – February 2016

“Thank you so much to everyone involved in getting Chester homed with me. He is doing a great job in trying to fill the void left by my previous cocker rescue. We’re all very happy and you definitely made sure that the right dog was put with the right owner” – February 2016

“Spaniel Aid have been amazing. Following both my parents passing away over the last 14 weeks , leaving behind their beloved dog Blue. The heart break has been indescribable as whilst in the UK on my Dad passing one of my dogs was stolen in Cyprus where I live and still missing to date . ( Find Chalky) on Facebook . Thankfully Spaniel Aid was recommended and they have been a god send. They arranged everything to ensure he was in great care with love and attention as I’m sure he is heartbroken like myself on loosing his Mum and Dad. The team and a very special lady Julie have kept me up to date with lovely photos, calls and emails sharing with me that Blue is safe and will be cared for forever. He is such a good boy and deserves a new loving home, which I know Spaniel Aid will provide for him. It’s heart warming the love and support they have shown both Blue and I. They are truly wonderful people and I thank them with all of my heart , as the same I’m sure my Mum and Dad do too” – February 2016
